A THREE-year-old boy was injured in a three vehicle pile-up in Leigh town centre.
Nathan Wall, of Hope Carr Road, Leigh, was treated at Wigan Infirmary for a minor head injury after the bus he was travelling on was involved in the crash.
The Warrington to Leigh bus, a Volvo car and a Ford transit pickup vehicle were involved in the crash in Chapel Street, Leigh yesterday afternoon.
Nathan and his mother were waiting to get off the bus when the accident occurred.
The driver of the car and the truck were not injured.
A fire engine which arrived at the scene to deal with a petrol spillage was slightly damaged when it was hit by an articulated lorry.
