Bolton Combination THE last two games of the Bolton Combination season rounded things off this week.

Tottington United Res had to beat Farnworth CC Res to finish off the season runners-up to Atherton C&N Res in the First Division.

Tottington were unbeaten in their previous seven games and maintained their fine form by beating Farnworth 7-0 to pip Blackrod Town for second spot.

In the Division One Supplementary Cup Final Bolton Lads Club turned in one of their best performances of the season against Tottington United Res.

Alan Mitchell put Lads Club into the lead after just two minutes and they never looked back.

Paul Samuels made it 2-0 midway through the first half and 15 minutes into the half Samuels grabbed his second to clinch the new Bolton Wanderers Souvenir Shop Trophy.
