BOLTON youngsters Steve Parry and Gareth Hastie continued in scintillating form to finish in the leading pack after the first round of the Lancashire Amateur Championship at Bolton Golf Club yesterday.
Former England player Robert Bardsley of Denton lead the field with a two-under par 68 but is hotly pursued by Parry from Deane who came home with a magnificent 70.
Hastie from Dunscar and Old Links player Jason Garside both recorded 72, with Dunscar's Simon Moore and Mike Lay, Hindley Hall's Andy Norris and Deane's Andy Runciman on 73.
