SIR: Regarding the closure of the toilets on Bridge Street, I would like to point out to Cllr Jack Foster who says that there are 'more than sufficient' toilets in the town centre - toilets in stores are usually on the top floor (or next to the top) and I cannot see restaurants and pubs welcoming shoppers on to their premises merely to use the toilets, especially if they don't wish to purchase anything!
Walking from Bridge Street to Nelson Square seems a long way when nature calls. I am surprised that in spite of trying to attract people to Bolton, we are doing the very thing to put them off.
