TWO men conned their way into a pensioner's house and stole £96 while she was out of the room.

The pair tricked the woman, aged 90, into going upstairs at her home in Tempest Road, Chew Moor, Bolton at 11.30am on Tuesday.

Both men were white, aged 20-30, 5ft 6ins tall and clean shaven with local accents.

One had short brown hair and the other had short black hair.

A TEENAGER was pushed off his mountain bike by a man who demanded he hand it over to him. The boy, aged 13, was riding in Seven Acres Country Park, Thicketford Road, Tonge Moor when the man attacked him and stole the bike - valued at £125.

The incident happened at 7.30pm on Sunday. The attacker was white, 20-25, 5ft 10ins, very slim and pale with a blonde goatee beard and stubble on the rest of his face. He was wearing a blue and red anorak and blue tracksuit bottoms.

Armed raiders burst into Ladbrokes bookmakers on Stand Lane, Radcliffe and threatened staff before escaping with cash. One man was brandishing a machete and the other a handgun. They ordered staff and customers to lie on the floor and threatened the assistant manager, forcing him to hand over cash.

They drove off in a blue Vauxhall Astra after the raid at 8.40pm on Saturday. Both men were white and slim build. One was 5ft 10ins wearing dark clothing, black and white training shoes, a balaclava and carrying a black/red sports bag. He was carrying a bronze revolver. The other was 6ft had brown Kicker shoes and was carrying a machete.
