SIR: As a mother of a pupil at Woodside Senior School I am disgusted that they would even consider closing the sixth form. My daughter needs all the help she can get to enable her to get a job when her school time is up.
Through no fault of their own, the children need this help and children have suffered by the fact that they are disabled in some way so that have not been able to learn up to the standard required for them to get a job.
The teachers and all the staff have, in my eyes done, and still do, all they can with our children. The closure of the sixth form should not even be considered - for our children's sake and their future.
I for one will fight.
