A PETROL station attendant was held at gunpoint last night while a raider helped himself to cash from a till.
The robbery happened at 7pm yesterday at the Telegraph Service Station in Manchester Road in Kearsley when a woman attendant was threatened with a handgun.
A small amount of cash was taken after the robber ordered the woman to open the till. He made off on foot. The attendant was not injured and the gun was not discharged.
The robber is described as white with dark skin, about 5ft 6ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing a red checked shirt and a dark coloured cap with a peak.
