IT was a cry from the heart when Ron Taylor, the head of Dunblane Primary School, told Lord Cullen's inquiry into the massacre, that for the life of him, he could not understand why people should wish to keep guns at home.
His plea for stricter gun controls must be heeded. Like Mr Taylor we believe that if people want to use weapons for sporting activities, they should keep them locked up away from their homes.
