NO wonder parents in the Withywood area of Bristol are incensed about the methods used at their local NHS family planning clinic.
Youngsters, some said to be as young as nine, are being given contraceptives, and a pamphlet called The Good Grope Guide.
The guide recommends different sex positions for youngsters to try and gives detailed descriptions of lovemaking.
One angry father says the literature encourages children to have sex and experiment and a mother pertinently points out that love, or even affection, are not mentioned.
Responsible sex education for young people of a suitable age is acceptable, but this seemingly haphazard method of handing out contraceptives and literature indiscriminately is not.
Parents in Withywood are demanding the closure of the clinic and we don't blame them.
