PLANS have been revealed for a FOURTH Bolton leisure complex.
An application has been made to council chiefs for a development on the Weston Engineering Works site at Summerfield Road, Bolton.
It is just across the road from another entertainments complex planned for the Bolton greyhound stadium site.
These are in addition to the two multi-million pound schemes set for lift off at Horwich and in the Tonge Valley.
The latest scheme is for 40,000 sq ft of leisure use.
The type of planning permission asked for would include a cinema.
But council planning chiefs have been told that bingo is the most likely use of the site.
In a letter sent in to Bolton Council, Mr John Smith, managing director of Weston Engineering, said that the firm is hoping to move to more modern premises.
Councillors will visit the site later this month before deciding whether to give it planning permission.
