A RUSSIAN rifle was among a small haul of weapons handed in at Bolton police station during the first two days of the national gun amnesty.
The firearm and a revolver were taken to Bolton Central police station. An air pistol and a started pistol have been left at Farnworth.
Police say anyone handing in guns and amunition during the month long amnesty will not be prosecuted unless the weapon was involved in a crime. Firearms can be left at any Bolton police station.
