TWO school pupils from Bolton have been chosen to appear on a hit children's TV show.
Ben Lomax, aged 12, of Parkinson Street in Deane and Sheetal Chavda, also 12, from Hulton Lane at Deane were chosen for the show.
The youngsters, both from Deane School, will travel to Scottish Television in Glasgow next week for filming.
They will be taking part in 'Fun House' which will be shown on Children's ITV later in the Summer.
STV representatives visited the school recently to audition pupils.
Staff chose two candidates from each form and programme researchers saw 12 first year pupils in all.
They were shown a video from the show which is made to the classic kids' formula of questions, games and gunge.
Trevor Kay, Head of Year at Deane said: "The TV company phoned the school to arrange an audition. A boy and a girl were chosen from each form in the school.
"Two researchers visited the school and told pupils about the show. Ben and Sheetal have extrovert personalities and were very pleased just to be chosen for the audition."
Ben will travel North with his grandmother Sylvia Hill .
Sylvia said: "They say he is a natural!"
