DETECTIVES are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a Bolton firm early hours today.
Firebugs hurled the petrol bomb through the office window of director Steve Watson, at Kinder Roofing, Radcliffe Road, Darcy Lever.
Two months ago a large amount of paint stripper was thrown over Mr Watson's Mitsubishi Shogun while it was parked outside the firm's offices at Lever Bridge Mill.
Last night firefighters rushed to the same offices when the blaze activated an automatic alarm shortly after 2am .
The office sprinkler system stopped the flames from spreading but cascading water damaged the offices and stock in a store-room.
Mr Watson is on holiday abroad with his wife and child, unaware of the latest attack. Today workers were mopping and said they will be open for business on Monday morning.
The roofing company employs about 50 people and has contracts with Bolton Council, City Challenge and a number of builders.
Mr Watson was one of the firm's founders.
