LEIGH RMI conceded an early goal but came back strongly to run out 5-1 winners at Rossendale last night.
They fell behind after only five minutes when a long-range, deflected free kick, left keeper Mike Allison stranded.
The Railwaymen had to wait until 10 minutes before the break to get back on level terms; Mick Wallace blasting in from 30 yards.
Another shot from outside the box from Tom McKenna gave them the lead before sub Paul Kirkham chipped the keeper for a third.
Graham Hill's header rattled the bar and Neil Wilkinson forced the ball home after a goal mouth scramble.
Kirkham made it a nap hand for RMI when he was left in the clear by Paul Wheeler's dummy from Jamie Fahey's left wing cross.
