IT'S something of a slight on British philately experts that the Royal Mail brought over a French philatelist to help select the line-up of prominent British women to be featured on new stamps. Surely, we don't need to import this kind of objective, foreign opinion, and at the taxpayers' expense.
The situation suggests that the French know more about letters than we do. Hardly.
