SIR: I read your article (BEN September 2), informing us that during the last year, 250 handicapped motorists had been charged for illegal parking. I read also your report of Inspector Jim Wharton's remarks.
As a disabled driver, I find no fault with that, we too have to obey the rules. But tell me, during the same period how many motorists were even admonished for parking in space reserved for the disabled.
Do I hear a deathly silence?
