ALAN Ball, Ray Wilkins, Howard Wilkinson . . . Colin Dyer?
Will the Citizen soccer team boss be the next managerial casualty of the season after his side crashed 6-3 to the All Stars on Sunday?
Quite frankly, the Stars were on a different planet while most of the Citizen lads were well spaced out in the charity soccer match at Brinscall.
It was obvious the press gang had overindulged during their cultural soirees the night before.
Player boss and Lancaster Citizen reporter Dyer was reasonably gracious in defeat. He admitted: "We had difficulty coming to terms with the quality of their players."
The Stars could even afford the luxury of a double penalty miss from their keeper Warrior, of Gladiators fame, of course. His first effort was superbly saved by flying Preston Citizen photographer Rob Underdown in goal. The second ricocheted off the bar onto the West Pennine moorland.
The Stars ran the show, even without Warrior who received a red card in the second half for verbally abusing the referee.
Seriously, a superb afternoon at Brinscall Football Club was enjoyed by players and spectators.
Organiser Tony Cartwright revealed that the Stars, who also included Brookside's Max Farnham and Jambo from Hollyoaks, had a great time and have promised to return for another match.
"They really enjoyed it and said it was one of the best matches they've played in," he said.
Proceeds from the charity clash, watched by around 200 people, will go towards the Royal Preston Cancer Unit and Kevin Keeley's soccer coaching school for local children.
