ANGRY protesters will be inviting councillors to "walk all over the people of Bolton" on Wednesday.
Campaigners protesting against the closure of two old people's homes will be collecting signatures for a petition in Bolton town centre on Saturday.
They will then cut out the names and put them on cardboard.
The signatures will then be put outside the entrances of Bolton town hall on the pavement when councillors arrive for a full council meeting on Wednesday night.
They are expected to rubber-stamp the decision to close Stock Park Home at Horwich and Lever Edge House at Great Lever.
Stocks Park campaigner David Greenfield said: "We feel that councillors have already walked all over the people of Bolton by agreeing to close these homes, so they may as well do it again.
"There has been an overwhelming feeling against these closures, but they have still decided to close them."
The campaigners will be collecting signatures in Victoria Square next to the town hall on Saturday between 11am and 3pm.
