BRITISH companies are being provided with a low cost entry into the Japanese market.
Action Japan - a joint export initiative between the DTI and industry - is combining with the City of Yokohama to establish a British Industry Centre.
The Centre, which is in a prestigious new building, provides ready-made office space with local administration staff.
Mike Ingle, Action Japan's Adviser for Investment in Japan, said it was essential to show commitment to the market if Japanese companies were to take you seriously. More than 20 small and medium-sized enterprises are already interested in moving into the centre.
Companies seeking a stepping stone into the Japanese market are being offered three-year leases with the option to renew.
Interested companies can ring Graham Spence or Mike Ingle at Action Japan on 0171 215 4835.
