MICHAEL Johansen's progress with Wanderers is being closely monitored back home in Denmark.
And no-one is showing a keener interest than the brother he left behind at FC Copenhagen - Martin the Danish international striker.
Michael, who took his Burnden tally to three with his two-goal strike against Grimsby, confirmed: "Martin would like to come over to England.
"He's seen how things have been going for me and, if he gets the chance, I'm sure he would make the move. But it isn't up to him. It is up to his club." Martin might envy the impact his brother has made in the English game but he has one thing Michael covets - a full international cap.
"He played in the national team against Albania two years ago," says Michael. "And that is something I would like to do.
"I have only played in the B team. Every winter, when the Danish League closes down, they take a B team to where the sun is shining. I went with them three times but I still haven't made the full national side."
