HORWICH-based Ingersoll Rand Sales is in the running for a top industrial prize.
The company has reached the final shortlist in the national 1996 Manufacturing Industry Achievement Awards.
The winners are to be announced at a gala evening to be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, tomorrow.
Ingersoll Rand is shortlisted in the Design Product of the Year category for its 37kw oil-free rotary screw compressor.
The awards are organised by business magazine publisher Miller Freeman Technical Ltd.
Their managing director, Roger Michael, said: "These awards highlight the strength of our manufacturing industry.
"Companies shortlisted for an award can consider themselves to be among the best in the country."
