BURY-based builder Thomas Barnes & Sons secured new contracts worth £5.2 million between March and August.
The company is the main contracting division of Barnes Construction (UK) plc.
One of the contracts is a new emergency care centre being built for Bolton Medical Enterprise Ltd at the junction of Chorley Old Road and Chorley New Road, Bolton.
Elsewhere the company is building an 80,000 sq ft factory at Glossop for Carpenter PLC and a retail development at St Helens for Chantry Developments Ltd.
Education sector work includes extensions and refurbishments for Manchester College of Arts & Technology.
A spokesman said: "The company is continuing to expand in the main contracting market and is looking forward with a great deal of optimism."
