FARNWORTH teenager, Jamie Harrison, is set to step into the TV spotlight again tonight when he appears in his second series of Granada's Children's Ward.
The Harper Green pupil is hoping his continuing success in finding TV work will set him on the road to stardom.
Jamie, aged 15, has his own agent and has appeared in every show put on by the school, including musicals, Shakespeare and Willy Russell's Blood Brothers.
He appeared in four episodes of the popular children's TV drama last year and returns tonight as the lovable rogue Gareth Jones causing havoc for patients and staff alike.
Harper Green's Head of Drama, Ann Cubbie, said Jamie is being rewarded for a special talent and self motivation.
She said: "He has been involved in all the shows here and we give him as much help as we can but his TV work has been organised by himself."
Jamie, of Begonia Avenue, Farnworth hopes to go on to study drama full time after sitting his GCSEs and is considering applying for RADA as well as Salford School of Theatre.
He said: "I enjoy acting and singing a lot. Without giving too much away, the boy I play causes mayhem."
Jamie is now compiling video tapes to send to the modern version of Opportunity Knocks - The Knock, hosted by Eamonn O'Neill.
