SOME of the clubs that have found the season something of a struggle, finished the Bolton Association campaign in a blaze of glory.
There were wins for Adlington and Blackrod while British Aerospace beat champions Golborne away by 49 runs.
Blackrod were in deep trouble as they chased a Standish total of 173-6. They lost their first two wickets without scoring and were 17-3 before winning it at 174-5 in the last over.

Eddie Haddon played a crucial role in Adlington's five wicket win over Walshaw.
First he took 3-8 and Neil Woosey 5-68 as Walshaw were dismissed for 147. Haddon then produced 34 with the bat and that was needed as the side were on their knees at 38-5. In the end it was 42 not out from Matthew Harrison and 39 not out from Paul Killey that clinched a five-wicket win.
British Aero pro John Nuttall captured his 100th wicket in his side's success at Golborne but it was his form with the bat that took the eye. He hit 64 in Aero's 185-6 while Golborne were all out for 136, Ewan McCray, who reached 100 wickets last week, top scoring with 48.
Daisy Hill were out of sorts against Spring View going down by six wickets. They totalled 137, Chris Bannister 38 and Alan Shields 5-37 but the Wigan side came back with Allan Green hitting 62 out of a winning 141-4.

Darcy Lever's season finished on a winning note after their 26-run win over Elton. Ian Scott was unbeaten on 65 in a Darcy total of 168-4 while Mike Scothern had 4-35 and Richard Sutcliffe and Steven Price three each as Elton were bowled out got 142.
Little Hulton used eight bowlers including wicketkeeper Rob Clews as their season ended on a note of farce.
