It's Goodbye, Goodbye to B.R.I.,
Some of us will want to cry.
There have been good times, and some sad,
But on the whole, it's not been bad.
One always sees a friendly face,
As you walk around the place.
But we have a job to do,
And must move to pastures new.
Let us hope that those in power,
Do not remove the stately tower,
Which has been a symbol of renown,
To the people of this town.
Now, it's farewell parties and a
Service of thanks,
But I for one will be among the ranks
Of those who may be shedding a tear,
For the memories they hold dear,
As we say Goodbye, Goodbye to B.R.I. Mrs O Brown,
Tottington Road, Harwood, Bolton.
