THE Berry family have proved they are first class after running the Unsworth Post Office in Bury for 50 years.
This month they are celebrating half a century of family involvement in the business with a host of recollections and events.
The current subpostmaster Howard Berry took over Unsworth Post Office in 1978 after his mother Gladys retired.
Howard's wife Wendy has gathered his recollections and those of many of his customers to produce an anniversary booklet charting Unsworth's history.
Customers can also take part in a raffle, view old film footage and photographs during the celebrations.
