BURY boss Stan Ternent today urged his side to bounce straight back from the season's lowest point so far.
The Shakers will now aim to make Luton Town feel the backlash of last night's disappointing 3-1 Coca-Cola Cup home defeat when they return to Division Two action on Saturday.
Ternent looked on the bright side of a night when they were given a first hand account of the difference in class between the First and Second Divisions, suggesting: "In many ways it could just be a good thing in that it gives us a kick up the backside. That is the standard we are trying to attain.
"It's all part and parcel of our learning and the priority will always remain the league.
"We will go away from this, lick our wounds and start preparing for the Luton game."
The Shakers' wait to learn how much they must pay for goalkeeper Dean Kiely goes on after today's scheduled transfer tribunal was postponed.
The initial hearing ended in chaos when the contingent from the selling club, York City, walked out after complaining about procedures.
Further complaints from York are understood to be behind the latest delay and there is as yet no new date for the tribunal.
