BAR staff at the Royal Oak in Leigh are celebrating a double measure of success after achieving full marks in a mystery customer award twice in a row.
Bass Taverns pubs throughout the region are regularly visited by mystery guests who check standards of service, friendliness, atmosphere and facilities.
Manager of the Wigan Road pub John Cavill is delighted with the result. He said: "Our staff training has definitely paid off and this is a great achievement for the pub. I'm really proud of all my staff who work really hard."
John and his team were all presented with a commemorative plaque to celebrate the double win. But John has plans for the future - he's hoping to go for the hat-trick.
