SCOTT Taylor was again on the mark for the Wanderers Reserves, taking his tally to six goals in five game with a double strike against Leeds at Burnden.

Bolton had a let-off in the early stages when Mark Tinkler struck a free kick that hit the underside of the bar before being cleared to safety.

The opening goal came after 15 minutes when the cultured left foot of Scott Sellars put Taylor in a great position. He beat off a challenge from Paul Beesley before shooting beyond the dive of keeper Mark Beeney.

Bolton, playing with three central defenders, were generally on top of anything Leeds could provide although Andy Todd had to make a goaline clearance after Lawrence Davies got through.

Hasney Aljofree was unlucky to see a speculative 45-yard chip go just over the bar while Marco Minchella who scored twice in the youth team the previous evening, shot wide from a good position.

The points were made safe nine minutes from time with Sellars and Taylor again combining with the striker going through the middle and curling a low shot past Beeney.

WANDERERS: Ward, Marsh, Small, Todd, Bergsson (Feeney), Strong, Quinn, Aljofree, Minchella (Potter), Taylor, Sellars.
