THE opening of Marks and Spencer's new foodhall looks set to be a bubbly occasion.
Top celebrity chef Paul Heathcote and store manager Brian Lunn will open the foodhall at the Deansgate outlet with a spectacular Champagne cascade on Monday morning.
The new foodhall, which now features a butcher's shop, a takeaway section and a wine shop with trained advisors, takes up the whole of the store's ground floor.
The first 150 customers visiting the foodhall on Monday will receive a glass of celebration bubbly.
And to mark the official opening Marks and Spencer is hosting a week long programme of events in the store.
There will be food and wine tastings, flower arranging demonstrations and even a competition to win a Vauxhall Corsa Vegas supplied by Kirkby Central Bolton.
