The scent from the honeysuckle,
The gentle brush of the breeze,
For this we should be thankful,
Mother Nature gave us these.
We all lead such busy lives,
Our ambition gives us drive,
But do we ever make the time,
To watch the sun arise?
To see the transformation,
Of night to glorious dawn.
Mother Nature's given birth again,
Another day is born.
Puffs of white, fluffy clouds,
Set in a sky of blue.
Take time out to look at these,
Nature's gift to me and you.
Don't have to buy a ticket,
This fantastic show is free.
When your busy day is over,
And you're relaxed on the settee.
Mother Nature will give her finale,
A breathtaking sunset you will see. P Mann,
Settle Street, Great Lever, Bolton.
