IN the Horwich SUNDAY LEAGUE match of the day between the top two sides in the Premier Division the game between Carters Arms and New Inn ended all square to leave them level at the top with Carters Arms having played one game less.
In the same section Jolly Miller and Arkwrights fought out an 11-goal thriller with Jolley Miller eventually coming out winning 6-5.
White Horse Rangers and Grey Mare are hard on the heels of the leaders with both teams winning, White Horse 2-1 away at Astley and Tyldesley and Grey Mare also winning away at GAC Beaumont 1-0.
In the First Division New Lane continued their hundred per cent record when they won thrashed Sams XI 5-0 at home to make it five wins on the bounce.
Hard on their heels in second spot are Oxford Grove Kings who went down at home to Barnstormers 3-1.
Fourth placed Walkden Legion won a seven-goal thriller 4-3 at home to Vicadrome and there were wins for Red Lion 3-1 at home to Victoria Inn with a double for J Platt. Also back on the winning track were Arkwrights Accademicals who won 3-2 at Bolton Deaf. Miller Fold also won 5-1 at Horwich Vic to lift them off the bottom of the table.
