A KNIFE wielding man made off with £550 in a robbery at Victoria Wines in Tyldesley.
The young man threatened shop assistant Barbara Hardman with a steak knife in the robbery at the shop on Sale Lane, at 9.20pm, last night.
Police have described him as white, slim, in his early 20s, and wearing a black donkey jacket, jeans, white trainers, a black "Raiders" bobble hat and a brown and beige scarf over his face.
The shop assistant suffered shock but was not injured. Police are appealing anyone with information to contact them on 0161 872 5050.
