GIN Pit, Astley, saw the BOLTON SUNDAY LEAGUE game of the day which ended in a 2-2 draw between Manchester Road Inn and Little Lever.

Neil Moss was on target with both Road Inn's goals but Little Lever grabbed a late equaliser to share the points.

Deane and Derby are the early leaders after a splendid 5-0 victory over Lostock Arms, Nathan and Silat each scoring two.

Feathers had a great start winning 7-4 at Rawson Rangers with Patel notching a hat-trick and Crook scoring two while Chris Baddeley got Red Lion's deserved winner against an out-of-sorts Bulls Head.

In Division One, Willows made a flying start with a resounding 6-2 victory over Gresham.

In the Second Division, Lee Molineux scored a hat-trick as Farnworth and Kearsley Labour Club romped to a 6-0 win over Hare and Hounds (Stoneclough).

Two goals from Roy Partington helped Market Street Tavern to a 2-1 win over White Horse (Kearsley) while Jason Hutchinson and Stewart McNair each scored two as M & AB Pineapple made it a miserable start to the season for Little Hulton Cricket Club with an 8-2 victory.

In Division Three, Matthew Kendall helped himself to four goals and Carl Duncan got the other as Coach and Horses just edged out Fannys 5-4.

Gary Walton scored two and Darrell Fletcher also hit the target as Arkwrights Main Connections beat Sparking Clog 3-1. RESULTS
