The Bolton Police Divisional Open Day is held every three years.
The event at the weekend attracted the biggest ever turnout from families throughout the town.
People of all ages were able to tour the police station's cell complex and inspect a range of police vehicles and equipment on display.
The crowd was also entertained by a police dog handling display and a self defence demonstration.
The event was free. Money raised from the sale of drinks and food will be donated to Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
