IT'S reassuring to know that the war against terrorism is relentless, certainly as far as Britain's forces of law and order are concerned. Yesterday's well-planned and executed actions against the IRA prevented what was thought to be a new wave of attacks against major UK cities and senior public figures.
The determination and bravery of the security officers to outwit the terrorists must be matched by equal vigilance by ordinary citizens, where anything suspicious is reported. We all have a role to play in this campaign.
