THE Consortium of Lancashire Aerospace has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer. Mr Michael Clifford, who is currently Deputy Managing Director of Panavia in Munich, Germany, takes over on November 1.
Other positions in his career include Purchasing Director at British Aerospace, Warton and Project Director Al Yamamah, Panavia. He is married with two children and lives in St Annes. The Consortium, which was formed in 1993, represents more than 130 companies in the aerospace and high technology engineering industries in the North-west. A spokesman said Mr Clifford would bring invaluable expertise through his experience in dealing with sub-contract aerospace companies at all levels within the supply chain - both in the UK and internationally.
