A BOLTON company celebrated its launch with a reception attended by about 90 friends and business contacts.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton, Cllr Eric Johnson and Mrs Ida Johnson, were among the guests at the official opening of Capital & Management Services in Deane Road, Deane.
Others present included two representatives from the Pakistan Consulate in Manchester - Vice Consul Mr Chaudhry Hamid and the Welfare Attache, Dr Gafoor Bhatti. The company has been founded to serve all sections of the Bolton community by Mr Riaz Ahmad, who came to Bolton from Pakistan in 1984. From 1990 to December, 1994 he owned Bank Street Private Hire in Bolton. Mr Ahmad, a graduate in economics and psychology from the Punjab University in Lahore, runs the company with his wife Farzana, who has a Masters in Business Administration qualification.
The company, which has been assisted by Bolton Council's Ethnic Minorities Business Service, provides mortgages, commercial loans, general insurances, loss assessing and accident claims.
