MR Arnold Wilcox-Wood, chairman of Bolton Town Centre Partnership, is right in accusing Bolton Council of being "downright cheeky" over its attitude to town centre toilets.
It is the council's responsibility to provide and maintain public loos. They should not rely on shops and shopping centres to do so.
As we have stated before, there is no point in pouring millions into making Bolton town centre attractive to visitors, if basic facilities are overlooked.
Bolton does not have enough public toilets and it is up to the council to remedy that situation.
