SIR: Around 1943 I contacted Tetanus and was admitted to the Children's Ward at BRI.

When they found out what it was, they quickly transferred me to a private ward (Barnes) because they though it was contagious. The doctor stated at the time that if they could keep me alive for the next two hours we would have a chance. Anyway I am still here thanks to BRI.
