A 78-year-old pensioner from Hindley was robbed of her £118 savings by two thieves posing as gardeners.
The two men knocked on the door of her bungalow yesterday asking if she wanted any gardening doing. While one distracted her the other sneaked into her bedroom and stole cash.
One man is white, aged around 21, clean shaven, with a round face, short hair, 5ft 7ins tall wearing jeans and leather boots.
The other is white, aged 20, 5ft 10ins, unshaven, with light coloured hair and wearing jeans. Both spoke with a local accent.
