READERS interested in the Family Fun Day that Camelot Theme Park is running in aid of ChildLine on October 27 should note a change of phone number involved.

Tickets that normally cost £12.99 will be sold at a minimum of £3 each for the charity, but they must be bought in advance for ChildLine to benefit.

Talented keyboards' player Steve Ronfell is putting on a charity concert for ChildLine's 10th birthday at the Greenfields Private Members Club in Wigan Road, Westhoughton, on Thursday, October 10.

Steve will be supported by vocalists Brian Foster and Lisa Wilson, Hayward School's Choir and drummer Ian Walmsley.

The event, sponsored by the Bolton Evening News and Warburton's Family Bakery, also features a disco, raffles and auctions.

Tickets are £5 each, available from the Spar Shop at 257 St Helens Road, and from the BEN's offices in Churchgate.
