DETECTIVES are searching for a teenage girl who disappeared from her Horwich home two days ago.

Susan Hambleton, aged 13, of Ormston Avenue, has not been seen since boarding a number 575 bus at Brazley, Horwich, heading towards Bolton, at 7.30pm on Tuesday.

She and her family had only just moved to the area in June, from Rochdale.

Susan went missing from her home in December 1995 and was eventually found in Bolton.

She is a pupil at Rivington and Blackrod High School and is described as white, of stocky build, with blue eyes and black shoulder length hair. When last seen she was wearing a navy blue cardigan, white shirt, navy blue pleated skirt and carrying a blue and black shoulder bag.

Detectives have made enquiries with Susan's friends and contacts back in Rochdale, but without luck.

They are appealing to anyone who may know of her whereabouts to ring 0161 872 5050.
