BE prepared to have your taste buds tickled at the World of Food Festival which takes place on Saturday.
Organised by community groups across Bolton this third Festival promises to be a gastronomic delight.
And more importantly visitors will be able to eat their way around the festival - for free.
Recipes from around the world will be demonstrated and there will be lots of opportunities for food tasting.
Dishes from countries including the West Indies, Bosnia, Morocco, Asia, India, Ireland and England will be made on the day. And foods on offer to taste include Spicy Yam Bake, Vegetable Cous Cous, Carrot and Pea Plough. Salsa Sauce and a Caribbean dish going under the name Stamp and Go.
Running alongside the food festival is a festival of craft from around the world. Demonstrations include calligraphy, Norwegian embroidery, egg decorating, and henna hand painting.
And all day visitors will be entertained with music and dance from around the world including Asian, Irish and belly dancing.
The Festival takes place at Clarence Street Community Education Centre near to the centre of Bolton. Doors are open from 11am and the fun continues until 3pm. And it's all free.
