THE Bolton Business Club had its inaugural meeting at Henry's Cafe Bar.
This organisation has been established by two firms relatively new to town - The Quigley Partnership (a legal firm) and Chatsworth Financial Management, independent financial advisers. Mr Stephen Yaffe, who runs Chatsworth with his partner Mark Hardy, said that about 35 people turned up for the first meeting.
They included representatives of accountancy firms, insurance businesses and building societies.
"This is one of the ideas we have for getting ourselves known in the area," Mr Yaffe said.
"We are trying to build up contacts and bring people together on an informal basis."
Regular meetings are planned for the future.
