A BOLTON firm took the biscuit recently.
More than 600 13/14-year-olds and their teachers helped the Engineering Employers' Federation celebrate its 100th birthday on a Eurostar trip through the Channel Tunnel to France.
The aim was to convince students of the exciting and challenging career opportunities in the world of engineering.
Premier Biscuits, a member of Bolton-based EEF Lancashire, answered the call for additional sponsorship by supplying cartons of biscuits.
EEF staff then had the problem of getting the biscuits to London.
The job was done by Securicor Pony Express (Bolton) in Manchester Road.
"They offered to waive their charges when they realised what it was for," a grateful EEF Lancashire spokesperson said.
