BOLTON and Bury Chamber of Commerce is holding a seminar on directors' pensions on Tuesday, November 12.
It is being run by chartered accountants Kay Johnson Gee of Salford, who are members of the Chamber.
Mr Robert Ward, a pensions specialist with the firm, believes that many North-west business people are not making proper provision for financial security in retirement.
"Many believe that the proceeds from the sale of the business on retirement will provide their pension, but often find that by then they wish to pass the company on to their children instead," he said.
Tickets are free on a first come, first served basis to members of the Chamber.
