SIR: In the recent SCENE supplement in the Bolton Evening News, Bolton Metro encouraged readers to write in with suggestions for the forthcoming reshaping of Farnworth Town Centre.
From the correspondence I have had, I have been informed that there are no plans for cycle lanes on the main roads in the Farnworth area. This is not good enough!
The Town Centre plans have still to be finalised. I urge anyone who wants cycle facilities to contact your local councillors or write to Bolton Metro.
