BOLTON Lads' Club flew the flag for the Bolton Boys' Federation in the Lancashire FA under-14s youth cup at highly fancied Great Harwood.
The local lads put in a super show to win 4-0 with a double for Lee Shillitto and one apiece for Gareth Jones and Tony Cubbage.
In the Under-12s Manchester County Cup AFC Bolton progressed into the next stage with an overwhelming 7-1 away win at AFC Stanley with double strikes for both Gareth Cunniff and Neil Smith.
There was also an Under-17s Manchester County Cup tie played at Little Hulton where Blackmear HF went through with a fine 8-1 victory at home to Ashton United with a hat-trick from Andy Morris.
In the Cubs section both AFC Bolton's sides are leading the way with the B team winning 11-0 at home to Shawclough and the A team recording a 5-0 home victory over Hindley Juniors thanks to a hat-trick from Callum Slater.
In the Under-12s Junior Section Bromley came back from 3-0 down to share the points in a 3-3 away draw at Farnworth Boys scoring all their goals in the last quarter of the game.
In the Under-15s Section B Blackmoor HF continue to be the side to beat with their latest win a 10-1 mauling of FIFE Rangers thanks to a five-goal haul for Reece Whittle.
In the Under-18s Section B their was a fiery game played out at Atherton LR were visitors Bromley Cross won 5-2 - thanks to a hat-trick from Paul Gallagher - after the sides had been level at half time 2-2 .
In the Under-18s Section A Atherton Colls continued their fine run of form when they won 4-1 at home to Leigh RMI in their local derby thanks to brace from Phillip Hornby and a 30 yard strike from Nathan Ready.
