I got out of bed one morning, not feeling well that day,
And talked with Father God, 'cos that's the way I pray.
The day was going to be busy, I had to go to town,
Better put a smile on - it doesn't help to frown.
Going up the steps seemed such an awful bore,
When suddenly a bright young man was holding wide the door.
He smiled at me when I thanked him, "You're welcome, Ma-am," he said,
And I was glad I hadn't stayed at home in bed.
I'm entering my seventies and I know the world is good
There's love and hope in everything if we just take Father God. Mrs Winnie Doel, Blake Gardens, Halliwell
